Hi, I’m Tammie Gibbs — creator and editor behind Homeschool’s Cool. 

 All my life I’ve told people the same thing: if it weren’t for creativity and imagination, I’d have been sunk. Even as a kid I was always building something — selling Girl Scout cookies, trying new ideas, and finding little ways to turn creativity into confidence. 

 That love for creating grew into a lifetime of projects and businesses, from launching my first brick-and-mortar shop just after high school to publishing, writing, and building new ventures over the years. I’ve taken a few zigzags along the way, but the heart of it has stayed the same. 

Kids thrive when learning feels joyful, meaningful, and connected to the real world.

I’ve experienced that firsthand as a homeschool mom, and now as a grandmother to three little grandsons who keep life lively, curious, and full of wonder. Being part of a child’s learning journey — watching what lights them up, what they get excited about, and how they grow in confidence — is one of my favorite things.
